BizEdu.NET means Business Education Online or Business Education via New Technology. It is a nonprofit website focusing on business education, and is also a support site for translation and promotion of MIT's Marketing Management and Introduction to Marketing.
Formally established in the spring of 2000 and running online for some time, known as CNMarketing, the site went offline shortly after Netease.com and China.com, two well-known free-hosting service providers, announced their plans to switch to premium users and unilaterally terminated the free services. A few years later, the website finally found its chances of revival in the mid May of 2004 when its founder joined Lucifer and became a volunteer translator for a project sponsored by a Taiwan's volunteer's group, later known as OOPS, who plans to translate all MIT open courses into Chinese. One year after that, the translated courses submitted to OOPS and CORE were edited and published online for global learners whose native language is Chinese.
Upon that, BizEdu.NET, briefly BEOL since 2008, has turned to the maintenance of two published MITOCW courses and the practice of business education and related activities.
